The rainbow tetra is rare in the aquarium trade since it is not commercially bred. When these fish are imported from the jungles of Columbia they sell quick. The rainbow tetra is a small peaceful schooling fish that adapts well the to fish tank environment. The tetra features long fins and a multi-colored body. These peaceful swimmers should be kept in a School of six or more.
