Fish, plants, and corals ship Monday thru Thursday.
Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with your FedEx Tracking Number.
For orders $149 and over:
- Free overnight shipping from time of fulfillment
- Packaging fee of $9.50
For orders under $149:
- $29.95 overnight shipping from time of fulfillment
- $9.50 packaging fee
*Orders must be at least $20
Non-fish or live animal orders such as aquariums, food and accessories are shipped FedEx Ground
For orders $149 and over:
- Free FedEx Ground shipping from time of fulfillment
- Packaging fee of $9.50
For orders under $149:
- $19.95 FedEx Ground shipping from time of fulfillment
- $9.50 packaging fee
*Shipping costs are NOT refundable
Shipping policy for AFS:
We will do our best to ship every order complete, but these are live species and if a fish is not ready, for whatever reason, we will not ship it. Therefore:
- If we can complete 80% or more of the order we will ship it and refund the missing portion of the order.
- If the order is less than 80% (60% for saltwater), we will ask the hobbyist if they prefer to ship the incomplete order or hold until the following week when we can provide a better fill rate. If the hobbyist still wants the shipment we will ship and refund for any missing fish.
Note: We do not "back order" fish or send out replacements.
AquariumFishSale.com is a collective of saltwater and freshwater importers and this policy allows us the best way to manage our service to our hobbyists.
*In order to make ordering fish online affordable, AquariumFishSale.com subsidizes the cost of shipping for our customers. Since the extra cost is covered by us, shipping is NOT refundable.

In an effort to curb fraud, any orders, first time or repeat customers, we reserve the right to request a picture of your ID and/or front of the debit/credit card.
Cancellations:
If you need to cancel your order for any reason, email us at support@AquariumFishSale.com and include "CANCEL" in the subject line along with your order number.
The deadline to cancel an order is 12pm PST on the day your fish are scheduled to ship.

AquariumFishSale.com complies with all State and Federal import, export, and shipping regulations regarding transportation and keeping exotic fish, coral, and plant species.
USA and California:
Wolf fish (snakeheads), freshwater stingrays, piranha, channel catfish, tilapia, walking catfish, parasitic catfish, Florida gars, newts except fire belly, regular dojo loach, all endangered species not covered by CITES certification (such as Asian Arowana), certain freshwater plants including cabomba, parrots feather, water lettuce, duckweed.
Arizona:
Electric Eels, Blind Cave fish, Florida Gar
Florida:
Electric eels, electric catfish, tiger fish
Hawaii:
Nearly everything, this is a restricted state that requires management approval before shipping anything.
Louisiana:
Electric eel
Michigan:
Gold dojo loach, bitterling
Mississippi:
Electric eel, electric catfish, tiger fish, peacock bass, all Florida and South American gars and barracudas, carapo banded knifefish
Oklahoma:
Electric eel, electric catfish, arapaima, silver arowana, and blue arowana
South Carolina:
Electric eel, blind cave fish
Texas:
Arapaima, electric eel, electric catfish, South American and Florida Gars, African pike and tiger fish, South American barracuda freshwater.
Utah:
Blind cave fish
