Queen Angelfish

One of the most regal and majestic angelfish out there. Its name is derived from the blue 'crown' located at the Queen Angel's nape coupled with its captivating colors and patterns. Often a combination of electric blue and vibrant yellow, the Queen Angel will undoubtedly become the centerpiece of your aquarium.Queen Angelfish reaches up to 18 inches in the wild, and an adult needs a tank of at least 200 gallons along with lots of hiding places and live rocks for grazing. This is not a reef-safe fish as it will eat the polyps of both hard and soft corals. It may be safe with more noxious soft corals however, and some invertebrates such as larger cleaner shrimp, snails, crabs, and bristle worms will be left alone. The Queen Angelfish can be aggressive, so it must be introduced to a community tank last. It is moderately easy to keep, if kept on a strict and proper diet, also with  strict water parameters.
