All bichirs look like prehistoric dragons with just a little variance in size and color pattern. The palmas bichir is a solid copper color with a lighter brown pattern across the back. Palmas bichirs are usually caught in larger sizes so we usually ship them at a healthy eight to ten inches. So, these fish are all ready to go right into a larger species tank.
