Moss Ball (faux - true moss balls not allowed to be imported, these are crafted java moss)

The true moss ball is a bizarre aquarium novelty that is actually a well behaved type of filamentous green algae! Also called "marimo" in aquascaping circles after a well known Japanese botanist - marimo is Japanese for balls that grow in water. Currently these balls are on hold until the Fish and Wildlife Department allow them in the USA due to a zebra snail contamination. In the meantime we have hand crafted java moss balls.
