Female endlers are only slightly smaller than their female guppy cousins, and always bigger than their male counterparts. In fact, the female endler will produce hybrids if mated with male guppies. Female endlers might not have much color - but they sure do bring the color in the males.

Care Guide
Tank setup: Give them a heater, a gentle filter and plenty of plants. Endlers are small, so a sponge filter or a sponge over the filter intake keeps them safe.
Feeding: Feed a quality flake, crushed small, or micro pellets once or twice a day, only as much as they eat in a couple of minutes. They also enjoy frozen brine shrimp.
Tankmates: Endlers do well with other small, peaceful fish such as small rasboras, corydoras, otocinclus and shrimp. Avoid larger fish that could eat them.
Breeding: Endlers are livebearers and breed easily. Adults will eat the babies, so thick plants give them a place to hide. If you want to keep endler colors pure, keep them apart from guppies, since the two can crossbreed.
Good to know: Female endlers are larger and plainer than males, but they pass on the bright colors to their young.
