Potted aquatic plants will flourish in the aquarium under good lighting and water conditions, though even without these they should last a few months and offer beauty to the aquarist and sanctuary for community fish.
Baby dwarf tears make a beautiful grass like mat on aquatic surfaces. The dwarf mat is approximately 2" in the pot.
