Midnight Angelfish: The Elegant & Timeless Dwarf Angelfish
The Midnight Angelfish (Centropyge nox) is a popular and very beneficial member of the dwarf angelfish family. This angelfish is easily recognized by its uniform, deep black body, which provides a striking contrast against colorful corals and rockwork. It is an active and graceful swimmer that requires plenty of hiding places to feel secure. While it is generally peaceful, it can be territorial towards other dwarf angelfish and should be the only one of its kind in a tank. It is considered reef-safe with caution, meaning it may occasionally nip at soft corals or clam mantles, especially if not well-fed.
Why the Midnight Angelfish is a Great Choice:
- Stunning Appearance: Its unique all-black coloration makes it a true showpiece.
- Adds Energy to the Tank: It adds a lot of energy and graceful movement to a spacious aquarium.
- Hardy & Resilient: It is known to be a very durable and adaptable species.
- Reef-Safe with Caution: It can be successfully housed in many reef tanks if well-fed and monitored.
