Red Tail Barracuda
Freshwater barracudas are small freshwater predators collected in the Amazon basin of Columbia. Also called the red tail barracuda, these monster fish only grow to eight inches so are quite suitable predators for the aquarium. Red tail barracuds have no relation to the salt water version other than they are sleek, fast, and have teeth. A source of ghost shrimp, small feeder guppies, small goldfish or similar food will sustain these guys. The color on the tail varies from yellow to red, depending upon the region from which it is caught.
