The Neon Blue Tux Guppy is one of the unique colorations of the Poecilia reticulata guppy. They are popular among beginner aquarists due to their hardiness and the fact that they mature within a short period of time. Their tail fins are a combination of blue, purple and black. Males can be easily distinguished from females as they are smaller in size and brighter in color. Males also have a bigger tail and an anal fin which is pointed in shape. The maximum size of the Neon Blue Tux Guppy is around 2 inches.

Care Guide
Tank setup: Give them a heater, a gentle filter and plenty of plants, including some floating plants where babies can hide. Guppies like slightly hard water.
Feeding: Feed a quality flake or small pellet once or twice a day, only as much as they eat in a couple of minutes. They also enjoy frozen foods like bloodworms and brine shrimp.
Tankmates: Guppies get along with other small, peaceful fish such as platies, mollies, corydoras, small tetras and rasboras. Avoid fin-nippers like tiger barbs and larger fish that could eat them.
Breeding: Guppies are livebearers and breed easily. Females give birth to live babies about once a month, and adults will eat the babies, so thick plants give them a place to hide.
Good to know: Tuxedo guppies have a dark back half that looks like a tuxedo jacket.
