Yellow Axelrodi Rainbowfish

The yellow rainbowfish is one of the larger and rarer rainbowfish of New Guinea and similar in size and behavior to the emerald and red rainbowfish. Discovered by that great fish adventurer Dr. Axelrod, males are much more colorful than the females but will only display their full color in the presence of a female, so we recommend the purchase of a pair. We cannot sell groups of male only, this leaves our warehouse full of females. They are colorful, but just not as colorful as the males.
