The red nose pinocchio shrimp, or freshwater pinochio shrimp, is a long thin scavenger suited for gentle tank mates. Our favorite name and the one we use around Christmas is Rudolph the Red Nose shrimp. Pinocchio shrimp are great algae eaters. In fact they will go after hair algae in its early stages.
