The L-006 Leopard Spotted Pleco is a rare pleco and seldom found since the expansion of the hydroelectric power program in Brazil. Since the colors are a bit muted, this pleco is not as popular as the gold nugget pleco which often inhabits the same areas.

Care Guide
Tank setup: Give them caves, driftwood and good filtration. They are most active at night.
Feeding: Feed algae wafers and sinking pellets once a day, ideally in the evening when they are most active. They also enjoy frozen bloodworms.
Tankmates: They are peaceful and get along with most community fish. Males may squabble over caves, so give each one its own hiding spot.
Good to know: Leopard plecos stay small and spend the day tucked into caves and driftwood.
