Giant Plakat Betta

The Giant Betta is a splendens variation bred in Thailand to get twice the size of regular Betta splendens. These beautiful monsters have dramatic colors and twice the fierce attitude of the smaller fighters.  Since Giant Bettas are already expensive, we focus on the more colorful selections. The Giant Bettas should have an adequate size bowl, about a half gallon or more, since they need more space. 

This weeks giant bettas are a solid purple to blue color. 

There are many names for the particular betta color patterns but most are variations of blue and/or red colors. Fish pictured here are representative only. If you are looking for a specific coloration, please note on your order, or simply allow us to choose one of our favorites for you!
