Figure eight puffers have a bright figure eight pattern on their body. These fish are good companions to other fish their own size but will need at least a light level of salt in the water. The figure 8 puffer is collected in brackish waters around Indonesia and is quite common in the wild. Though originating in brackish water, figure 8 puffers can handle freshwater.
