Crimson Loach
The crimson loach, named for the partial ruby red body, is also called the Jasper Loach after the original English discoverer. These loaches were known long before the English found and named them in Southern India, but at least they were legitimately "discovered" for the aquarium hobby by Mr. Jasper. The loaches get along well with any fish that cannot eat it, and will find most food that falls to the bottom of the fish tank. Crimson loaches will fight each other for territory in the fish tank, but once they have their own areas things should settle down. The crimson loach is part of the shistura family, and all thee loaches do well with even small rasboras.
