Male cherry barbs become a nice light cherry red color, while the females are a tan color. When a School of these fish are purchased we try to mix them up half males and half females to keep everyone happy. Cherry barbs have small little wiskars and are very active schooling fish, suitable for most community tanks and nano tanks.
