The Black and Gold Damselfish, also called the Black-and-Gold Chromis,  is hardy and a great eater, but don't be fooled by the bright black and gold juvenile colors. As an adult these wash out a little bit, but it is still a beautiful fish and a very good species for beginners. And you can't beat the price!
