Freshwater Snails

Snails are available in several separate species groups. The nerite snails are great algae eaters, the mystery snails are great scavengers, and the golden rabbit snail is great to look at. 

Like loaches, Assassin snails are great for snail control, when the other guys get a little out of hand. Nerite snails cannot breed in freshwater, only saltwater, but they are great scavenger in freshwater fish tanks.
