The yellow rabbit snail is carefully selected for a solid chocolate shell and clean yellow body. The shell has some white blotches and an elongated turban shape. Due to these little blotches, no shell is quite the same.
Rabbit snails are larger than most freshwater aquarium snails and are effective scavengers. Some aquarium snails prefer cold water, such as Japanese trapdoor snails, but rabbit snails prefer clean water and warmer conditions and are great tankmates for discus and other tropical fish.

Care Guide
Tank setup: Rabbit snails come from warm, clean lakes in Sulawesi. Give them a soft sand bottom they can burrow in, warm water (76–84°F) and good water quality. Add calcium if your water is soft.
Feeding: Feed sinking pellets and algae wafers daily. Rabbit snails are big eaters and also clean up leftover food.
Tankmates: Rabbit snails do well with peaceful fish, shrimp and other snails that like warm water, such as discus and tetras. Avoid puffers, loaches and large cichlids.
Good to know: Rabbit snails are slow-moving and gentle, and they wave their long "ear-like" tentacles as they move. Remove snails before using copper or other medications.
