Yellow-Green Goniopora Colony: A Vibrant, Flowing LPS Showpiece

The Yellow-Green Goniopora Colony is a striking Large Polyp Stony (LPS) coral featuring vibrant yellow-green coloration and long, flower-like polyps that create constant movement throughout the reef aquarium. This established colony offers significantly more visual presence than a small frag, making it an excellent centerpiece or feature coral.

Under blue-spectrum reef lighting, the yellow and green coloration becomes especially vivid, while the extended polyps create the flowing appearance Goniopora corals are known for. When fully extended, the colony adds both bright color and dynamic movement to the aquarium.

Goniopora corals are photosynthetic but can also benefit from supplemental feeding. Stable reef parameters, moderate lighting, gentle-to-moderate water movement, and access to fine particulate foods can help support healthy polyp extension, growth, and coloration.

• Diet: Mixotroph. Primarily photosynthetic but can benefit from supplemental feeding.
