The newest line of gene-spliced fluorescent fish are the glo pristella tetras. These hardy aquarium-designed fish were the combination of the pristella tetra and phytoplankton. With almost identical behavior to the parent pristella tetra (who wants them to behave like phytoplankton?), Glo Pristella Tetras feed on flake food and can breed in the aquarium environment. Pristella Orange Glo tetras are very pretty schoolers.

Care Guide
Tank setup: Give them a heater, a filter, plants and open swimming space. A dark substrate and background make the colors pop.
Feeding: Feed a quality flake or small pellet once or twice a day, only as much as they eat in a couple of minutes. They also enjoy frozen foods like bloodworms and brine shrimp.
Tankmates: GloFish tetras get along with most peaceful community fish of similar size, such as other tetras, danios, rasboras, corydoras and livebearers. Keep them in a group so they don't nip the fins of slow, long-finned fish like bettas.
Good to know: GloFish colors look brightest under a blue or actinic LED light, but they are colorful under normal lighting too. GloFish pristellas are gentler than GloFish skirt tetras, so they suit calmer community tanks.
