The pineapple pleco is an amazing example of the colorful family of cactus plecos from Brazil. These plecos are tough to find and command a high price. Show size plecos are beautiful and hardy. These plecos will get a large size but will be good tank mates with any neighbors that can't fit into their mouth. At five inches the deep red and gold fringes are just beginning to show.
