The L-002 Tiger Pleco only grows to 5 inches. The pattern varies from black stripes to reddish chocolate stripes. Tiger Plecos are scavengers, hardy, and do most of their scavenging at night, just like real tigers. Except they don't eat people, or fish. They might accidentally eat small fancy shrimp if they accidentally catch them.

Care Guide
Tank setup: Give them plenty of driftwood, caves and good filtration. They are most active at night.
Feeding: Feed algae wafers and sinking pellets, and keep driftwood in the tank, since they rasp on it as part of their diet.
Tankmates: They are peaceful and get along with most community fish. Males may squabble over caves, so give each one its own hiding spot.
Good to know: Tiger plecos stay small and keep their bold stripes as adults, which makes them a favorite for community tanks.
