The Koi Betta is a highly sought color variation that comes in roundtail (plakat) and veil tail fins. The koi betta has a variable color pattern that features red, white, and black and named after the color pattern of the sanke and showa koi found in ponds. No two koi bettas have the same pattern but all koi bettas are truly rare. The roundtail shape is prized by not very nice Thai who prefer this body type for betta fighting - body tends to be stronger and the tail is harder grab.
