Care Guide
Tank setup: Horseface loaches bury themselves in the bottom, so a soft, fine sand bottom is a must. Give them plants, driftwood and good filtration.
Feeding: Feed sinking pellets once or twice a day, ideally in the evening. They also enjoy frozen foods like bloodworms and brine shrimp.
Tankmates: They do well with peaceful community fish like tetras, rasboras, gouramis and corydoras. Avoid aggressive bottom dwellers.
Good to know: Horseface loaches often bury themselves with only their eyes showing; this is normal behavior.
