Gold angel veil rams have long, flowing deep yellow fins and a gold balloon body. Gold veil rams, or gold balloon hi-fin rams, are peaceful and hardy in a community fish tank. Though they may eat small fancy aquarium shrimp, these aquatic species are good tankmates to most other small species.

Care Guide
Tank setup: Rams need warm, very clean, soft water. Give them a sand bottom, plants, driftwood, leaf litter and flat stones for spawning. Rams are sensitive to poor water quality.
Feeding: Feed small amounts of quality micro pellets or flake once or twice a day. They also enjoy frozen foods like bloodworms and brine shrimp.
Tankmates: Rams do well with small, peaceful fish that like warm, soft water, such as tetras, rasboras, hatchetfish, corydoras and discus. They may eat small shrimp. Avoid large or boisterous fish.
Good to know: Rams often form pairs and lay eggs on flat stones. Stable, warm water is the key to keeping them healthy.
