Daisy's Blue Eye Ricefish

Daisy's Blue Eye Ricefish are similar to killifish, but belong to their own genus "Onyzias". Spread throughout Asia, from China to Japan. Rice fish are schooling fish that swim near the surface of rice paddies to control the mosquito population. Daisy's Ricefish, or Blue Eye Daisy, are the most colorful of the Ricefish and offered by AquariumFish.com through the same breeding program in Singapore that sells these same fish for mosquito control. Both sexes are colorful, males have slightly larger fins. Ricefish are sold individually but do best in a School of six or more.
