Bitterling are hardy schooling fish found in streams and ponds of Japan and in backyard garden ponds around the World. The bitterling is a small 2 1/5 inch flashy schooling fish perfect for small and large ponds. These are very active fish and are not happy in small tropical fish tanks. Like koi, bitterlings can handle different seasons.
