Bundoon Blenny
Bundoon Blenny
Found in Tonga in the South Pacific and has a caudal fin that resembles a fork. The body is black with a yellow stripe running horizontally from behind the eye to the mid section of the body. Males are generally larger than females and experience a succession of color changes when breeding.Blenny is very hardy and durable fish making them a perfect addition for the novice or seasoned aquarist. The Bundoon Blenny is a good candidate for a reef aquarium as it will not bother invertebrates nor corals. If attacked by other fish, the Bundoon Blenny will retaliate by biting the inside of the mouth of the attacker. It is considered venomous and should be kept only with caution around children having access to the aquarium since it may perceive fingers as an attacker and deliver a similarly painful bite.
