The blue peacock cichlid will begin showing the solid blue colors at three inches, sometimes a little sooner depending on diet. Peacocks are colorful and extremely hardy, great cichlids for beginners and experts. Also, these cichlids are good cichlids community fish and not as aggressive as some of their other African cousins.
