Barred Danio

The Barred Danio is a rare and beautiful danio similar in proportion to the giant danio, but with a wide barred pattern along the body. The top of the fish has red and orange irridescence at maturity with green irridescence on the side. This fish come from India and are seldom seen in the trade. At one inch to two inches the bars can be seen within the silver body and the colors and namesake pattern become pronounced at 2 1/2 inches.
