Veil angelfish need clean water to ensure their long flowing fins remain free of disease, but then again, a good aquarium should have clean water anyway. Veil angelfish fins can grow more than twice the length of standard angelfish. AquariumFish.com stocks a couple of tanks of veil angels from a local breeder. Veil angelfish range in color from silver to gold marble. Pictured below is the gold marble veil. If a certain color pattern is desired, please note it on the order, and we will do our best to match it from our current stock.

Care Guide
Tank setup: Give them tall plants or driftwood, a heater and a gentle filter.
Feeding: Feed a quality flake or small pellet once or twice a day, only as much as they eat in a couple of minutes. They also enjoy frozen foods like bloodworms and brine shrimp.
Tankmates: Choose peaceful fish too large to swallow, such as larger tetras, corydoras, plecos, rams, gouramis and peaceful barbs. Avoid fin-nippers like tiger barbs, and small fish like neon tetras that adult angels may eat.
Breeding: Angelfish pair off and lay eggs on flat surfaces like broad leaves or slate. A breeding pair can become territorial, so give them room and places for other fish to retreat.
Good to know: Long veil fins are easy targets for fin-nippers and can get infected in dirty water, so keep the water clean and skip nippy tankmates.
