The freshwater bumblebee goby has quite a bit of personality and unusual movement, so it is a great addition to the aquarium. Bumblebee gobies are bottom dwellers and a bit territorial, but easy to keep and feed. Some freshwater gobies, such as the bumblebee and dragon goby, do better with a little salt in the water. Fine for brackish or freshwater tanks.
The bumblebee goby looks like a little yellow and black bumblebee and only grows to an inch.

Care Guide
Tank setup: These small gobies do best with plenty of caves and hiding spots (small shells and rocks work well) and hard, alkaline water. Many do best with a little marine salt in the water (brackish, specific gravity about 1.002–1.008).
Feeding: Feed small amounts once or twice a day. They prefer small frozen foods like brine shrimp and bloodworms, and some will not eat flake reliably.
Tankmates: Keep them in a species tank or with other small, peaceful brackish fish such as mollies, glassfish and small livebearers. Avoid larger fish that could eat them.
Good to know: These tiny gobies are full of personality and often perch on rocks or glass to watch their surroundings.
