Also called the leopard moray eel and the honeycomb eel (for the very distinct pattern), the tesselata eel gets a foot larger than Snowflake Moray Eels so this exotic aquarium species requires a tank of at least 180 gallons. And don't forget like all eels provide a good cover to prevent escape and a nice place for the to hide and call home.
