Brilliant Rummynose Tetra

The brilliant rummynose tetra is sometimes called the false rummynose, as the fish has the features of the true rummynose tetra but will not develop a deep red nose. These tetras are generally found in the Brazil portion of the Amazon basin and they do get a little light red color on the nose, but nothing like the true rummynose tetra generally caught in the Colombia basin of the Amazon.
